El PSOE propone un autobús urbano para la costa
El PSOE propone dos servicios de autobús urbano para ir desde la Zenia (Mercadona) hasta Torrevieja Hospital (Los Balcones) recorriendo todas las urbanizaciones de Orihuela Costa.
Además de conseguir la necesaria conexión de la Zenia y las demás urbanizaciones con el hospital, este autobús servirá a otras áreas cercanas.
El Nuevo autobús tendrá paradas en los principales comercios de Orihuela Costa, como Via Parks y Villa Martín Plaza y en los principales restaurantes. En resumen las grandes urbanizaciones como Dream Hills, Playa Flamenca y La Florida estarán unidas por un autobús urbano.
Hay también perspectivas de una tercera línea de Campoamor, pasando por el club de golf y Villamartín al Hospital. Todas estas líneas estarían conectadas con las que ya existen de “Costa Azul” al Hospital y Torrevieja.
El PSOE alquilará, para una simulación, autobuses que realicen estas rutas para mostrar como sería su funcionamiento cuando gobierne en el Ayuntamiento de Orihuela.
Este servicio de transporte está pensado para todos los días y con la frecuencia suficiente para que los residentes no tengan que utilizar sus vehículos particulares.
El PSOE propone también extender el autobús existente de “Costa Azul” (Ruta F, que va actualmente de Torrevieja a los altos, por el Hospital) hasta el Nuevo centro comercial La Campana, cercano a la N 332; lo que facilitaría un mayor servicio a Torrevieja para los residentes en esta área.
El PSOE quiere introducir además un autobús directo de Orihuela Costa a Orihuela Ciudad. Este servicio contribuirá a la integración de todos los ciudadanos de nuestro municipio. Además este autobús conectará Orihuela Costa con la estación Intermodal, permitiendo el acceso de estos ciudadanos al tren (RENFE) y a las líneas regulares de autobuses.
El nuevo servicio de autobuses facilitará no sólo la visita para ir al notario, sino la de Orihuela como gran centro comercial y turístico
PSOE proposes new Costa Bus Routes
The PSOE Party has proposed two new Minibus services from La Zenia (Mercadona) to Torrevieja Hospital (Los Balcones).
Apart from the obvious much needed connection from La Zenia and the Urbanisations to the Hospital itself, the routes will serve vital areas in the surrounding district. These will include shopping centres such as the Via Parks and Villamartin Plaza as well as eating and drinking establishments. In addition, large urbanisations such as Dream Hills, Playa Flamenca and La Florida will also be able to pick up a bus.
There is also scope for a third service from Campoamor via the Golf Clubs and other parts of Villamartin to the Hospital. All these services will connect with existing “Costa Azul” Buses (Linea E and F) at the Hospital for onward travel to Torrevieja.
The PSOE are also considering hiring a bus for a day to run on the proposed routes to show you what can be done by a willing and able Council.
It is intended that the services will run frequently and on a daily basis so that you can enjoy all the facilities in the area without the need of a car.
Bus services are long overdue and will alleviate the need for the use of a car at all times.
The PSOE will also suggest the extension of existing Cota Azul Route F (presently running from Torrevieja to Los Altos via the Hospital) to a point close to the new Shopping Centre at La Campana, close to the N332. This will facilitate a much better service to Torrevieja for those living in and around the area.
It is also PSOE Policy to introduce a diect Bus Service from Orihuela Costa to Orihuela itself. Not only is this an urgent requirement, it also brings together peoples from both areas and allows for everybody to benefit from the facilities available both in and around the surrounding areas. Such a service also connects Orihuela Costa with the Railway (RENFE) and local Orihuela Bus Services.
Orihuela itself is a great place to visit both for shopping and for its tourism. Many of us have only visited it to go to the Notary – the bus will allow us to get there cheaply and without the need to drive.
